Mar 8: The Guidelines for the Report 3 and Class Presentations is now posted under supplementals web page. Part of the report is to submit an abstract for your class presentation (Mar 15 (TR) or Mar 16 (WF)) by 5 pm the day before you present. Please use the online form for submitting your abstract - link is also found on supplementals page.
Mar 7: Report 1 packets and graded report 1 are in the lab if you didn't get your's last lab.
Mar 4: Prelab 8 is now posted. It is due Thursday or Friday this week. There is an extra credit problem 3. Reminder: The Calorimetry Reports are due Tuesday and Wednesday this week. See the guidesheet handed out in class and also posted on the Supplemental web page.
Mar 2: Class data for Calorimetry is now posted on the Supplementals page under Project 1.
Feb 27: Please meet at the NMR lab in Linus Pauling Science Center at 1 pm Tuesday/or Wednesday for a tour and orientation of this facility. The lab is on the main floor of LPSC across from the general chemistry labs. Afterwards please return to GBAD 411 and John will give a short lecture on Project 2 keto-enol correlations.
Feb 25: Prelab 7 is now posted. It is due Tues/Wed at 1 pm.
Feb 24: Note changes in Course Schedule for due dates on lab report 2 Calorimetry. The Calorimetry report is now due at the first lecture of week 9.
Feb 21: Online form to submit calorimetry and HyperChem data is now posted on the Supplementals page. Note updated schedule for report due dates (highlighted in green).
Feb 19: Prelab 6 is now posted. Reminder that the reviews for Report 1 are due on Thursday Feb 23 at 1 pm for the TR section and Friday Feb 24 at 1 pm for the WF section.
Feb 11: Prelab 5 is now posted. Reminder that Report 1 is due on Thursday Feb 16 at 1 pm for the TR section and Friday Feb 17 at 1 pm for the WF section.
Feb 4: PreLab 4 is posted and will be due the second lab day this week (Thrusday or Friday depending on your lab section. The Guidelines for Report 1 Communication Paper that were passed out in class last week are also posted on the Supplemental link on the 362 course page.
Jan 21 Saturday: Prelab 2 is now posted under the PreLab link. It is two pages and due at 1pm on Jan 24 (TR) or Jan 25 (WF). Because of the campus closure on Friday Jan 20, the WF section will be one lab day behind the TR section until we can catch up during the calorimetry part of Project 1.
Jan 13 Saturday 2012: Prelab 1 is now posted under the PreLab link on the course web page. It is one page and the Prelab is due at 1 pm before lecture on Tuesday for TR section and Wedensday for the WF section.
Jan 9 Monday 2012: Welcome back Class! Lec and Labs will meet this week as normal. Lab manuals will be distributed at the first class and lab will meet after that but should be a shorter lab if you aren't checking into lockers. You will also need a duplicating page lab notebook as in CH 361 & 361H and also the Mohrig lab text (available at the OSU Bookstore, and other fine bookstores!).
