ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRECTIONS TO COURSE MATERIALS

Nov 11:  Experiment 5 posted here.  We will do this last regular experiment Tuesday after lecture.  Nov 15.  I will leave a hardcopy in your chem mailboxes Monday. 

Nov 7:  Special Project proposal forms and the Special Project lab manual are posted under Supplemental Materials link.

Nov 7:  Directions for Expt 4 Final Report. Here is a copy of the directions for expt 4 on Flame AAS.  GFAA is not currently available due to a blown power supply on the lamps.  Service technician will be here Nov 14 to make repairs so it should be available for special projects but not for Expt 4. 

October 30:  Here is a copy of the first part of experiment 4 on atomic spectrometry.  We will meet for lecture on Tuesday and lab time is for all solution preparations.  Your group will be assigned a time to run the three instruments over the remaining two lab periods for experiment 4. 

October 26:  Lab Quiz is now posted (6:41 pm Wed ) Due on FRIDAY by 1 pm.  

October 24: Here is a copy of experiment 3.  Tuesday you should plan to prepare solutions and perform runs 1A thruogh 8B; stopping point is through p13.

October 19:  Lab Quiz 3 is now posted (11:55 Wed).  Please print and complete.  See some additional comments on header of quiz.  Contact Chris for questions.

October 16:  Here is a copy of experiment 2B.  Tuesday you should plan to get through page 9.  I will put a hardcopy of 2B in your chemistry mailbox so you don't have to print it out.

October 12:    Also Lab Quiz 1 and Lab Report 1A are in your chemistry mailboxes.  (Ms. Marshall should see Luanne in the main office to retrieve her papers.)

October 3:  A student report an error in the dates for the course schedule for Tuesday Nov 15 and Thursday Nov 17. These have now been corrected on the web version.

September 27:  Welcome Back!  Lecture at 1 pm in GBAD 211.  Go to lab after lecture, check in to lockers, form teams, and start experiment 1A.  A pdf of the first experiment is posted here and you will receive a hardcopy in class on Tuesday so you don't need to print a copy yourself.   EXP1A_2010.pdf
